First Baptist Church of Denver Seeking Senior Pastor

First Baptist Church of Denver is a historic church at the southwest corner of 14th and Grant in Denver, Colorado. It is a facility where people of all walks of life and systems of belief can experience conversations rooted in hope and filled with a passion to serve the needs of the broader community.

Educational requirements for the Senior Pastor will be a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and a graduate degree from a seminary accredited by the American Association of Theological Schools or a university accredited by a regional accrediting association. The Senior Pastor will be ordained and recognized by and in good standing with the American Baptist Churches, USA.

The Senior Pastor will be called by the active members of the congregation and will work closely with the Church Council. Church bylaws define the role of the Senior Pastor. Expected Start Date is after Easter 2026. Expected Hours are a minimum of 40 per week. Salary is approximately $54K in total compensation. The compensation package listed is what our current financial situation will support.

This church is located in downtown Denver, Colorado. Limited relocation assistance may be available.
