Walker Burroughs’ Artist Bio

Prepare to be captivated by Walker Burroughs, a top 8 finalist on American Idol in 2019. His talent has led him to duet with Jason Mraz, star in a commercial aired during the Oscars, and amass a significant online following.

Originally from Birmingham, AL, Walker graduated from Belmont University with a degree in voice and an emphasis in songwriting. In his years at school, he has released three singles, accumulating 5.4 million streams on Spotify alone, one of which landed a sync deal on Love Island Australia. He also toured nationally with Bobby Bones on a comedy music tour as both the piano player and a featured artist with the chance to play their music for thousands of people each week, including opening for Garth Brooks’ Stadium Tour in Arkansas. Walker is the son of David and Colleen Burroughs, founders of Passport, Inc.

He has recently collaborated with groups like Scary Pockets and Pitch Meeting. Walker now creates content online and performs engaging and fun shows around the Southeast, looking to grow, share, and collaborate with other musicians and audiences. Walker loves camping, rock climbing, and carpentry, and he hopes you’re having a really nice day.
